Esterzili is a little village located in Sardinia's heart. It belongs to the provence of Nuoro.

It's situated on the bottom of the mountain Santa Vittoria (m.1212), up to 750 meters from the level of the sea.

Because of its geographic position, Esterzili has an harsh climate during winter (around 0 degrees), and wormth-dry in summer (33-37 degrees).

About 1000 inhabitants are resident in Esterzili, but only 600 of them live here. This is due to the fact that Esterzili, like all the little

villages of Sardinia, doesn't offer job possibilities to young people, that have thus to look for a job in the north of Italy or abroad.
